FACIAL FILLERS:

Did you know that as we age, we lose tissue volume in our face causing us to have a hollow appearance and therefore look older? Facial fillers can replace that lost volume to help smooth, plump and restore your youthful glow.
Fillers are a safe and effective way to slow the aging process or enhance facial contour. Fillers contain a natural substance called hyaluronic acid, which is already found in your skin. Because of its natural ingredients, it decreases risk of allergic reaction and side effects. Hyaluronic acid fillers are soft and gel-like. They are temporary and usually last between 9 and 12 months, or until the body absorbs the particles.

Our ideal client is someone who wants to look more youthful by adding fullness to his or her cheeks, jawline, chin or lips. Filler also helps to soften or strengthen your natural features and create facial symmetry.

Lips

Filler can plump up your natural lip to give you more volume and decrease vertical lines, making your lips look more hydrated and full.

Cheeks

Filler can restore the hollowness of sunken cheeks and give you more of a contoured look. While raising the cheekbone, your lower facial skin appears more smooth and full as well, decreasing lines and enhancing your natural beauty.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

While the treatment delivers beautiful results, it is important for you to discuss your desires with your injector. We work with your goals and your natural anatomy to give you the best possible results. The injection process is rather simple and quick. You may feel some discomfort during the injection process, but you will be back to your normal routine within an hour.

PRE AND POST INSTRUCTIONS:

Arrive to your appointment with no makeup and clean skin. Discuss your goals with your injector and make sure you both have a clear understanding of how your treatment will go. Avoid taking vitamins and anticoagulants such as ibuprofen, naproxen and aspirin for one week before your treatment. Pineapple is a natural substance you can eat one-week prior that has been proven to decrease bleeding and bruising. Please allow a two-week time frame between your treatment and any special events or travel. Swelling and bruising are normal after filler injections and will subside within a few days. However any prolonged or abnormal bruising or pain, please contact our office. Ice on and off gently, to the treated area can help minimize discomfort and decrease swelling. Please avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours post treatment. You should avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks after lip injections. Avoid putting direct pressure on the treated area to prevent migrating product.
